    SUE HORNUNG is excited to be back on stage at The Candlelight Theatre where audiences last saw her as Louise in Always, Patsy Cline. Her first role at Candlelight was in 1974 as Sally Bowles (Cabaret) when she met her husband, Tom. Favorite roles here include: Doris (Same Time Next Year), Mrs. Brice (Funny Girl), Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), Melissa (Love Letters), and Winnifred (Once Upon A Mattress). Sue portrayed Mame Dennis (Mame) and Dolly Levi (Hello, Dolly!) for the Brandywiners, Ltd. at Longwood Gardens, Queen Aggravain (Once Upon A Mattress) at Wilmington Drama League, and Majorie Taub (Tale of the Allergist’s Wife) at Chapel Street Players. She’s delighted to be on stage for the re-opening of the barn and reports that playing opposite her husband is the icing on the cake!

    TOM HORNUNG is always happy to perform on the Candlelight stage and especially in a role opposite his real-life leading lady, Sue. Some of his favorite Candlelight roles were J. Pierpont Finch (How to Succeed), Edward Rutledge (1776), Sky Masterson and later Nicely-Nicely Johnson(Guys and Dolls), Johnny Nolan (A Tree Grows in Brooklyn), Chuck Baxter (Promises, Promises), and Clifford Bradshaw (Cabaret). Tom portrayed Ira Taub in (Tale of the Allergist’s Wife) at Chapel Street Players, Horace Vandegelder (Hello Dolly) for the Brandywiners, Ltd, and King Sextimus (Once Upon A Mattress) at Wilmington Drama League. He is proud that our theater has survived the COVID shut down and thankful for all of the help it has received during this difficult time.

    MAX REDMAN is very happy to be back on stage at The Candlelight Theatre for its first show back! Max was seen most recently on stage in Cabaret as Clifford Bradshaw. A few of his favorite Candlelight credits include: Hairspray (Corny Collins), The Drowsy Chaperone (Gangster #1), Catch Me If You Can (Agent Branton), Crazy For You (Bela Zangler), South Pacific (Com.
