GET OUT YOUR TAP SHOES!

A Tap Dance Master Class with Peter Rios

Get out your tap shoes and come to The Candlelight Theatre for a drop-in Tap Dance Master Class!

This Tap Dance Master Class will be a great way to brush up on your basics or challenge your skill levels through warmups, across the floor work, combinations and routines. Structured for the developing and working theatre per-former, the Tap Dance Master Class will be in the style of Broadway/Rhythm Tap and is open to 10th grade students through to adults. Two levels will be offered on each date: Beginner to Beginner-Intermediate and Intermediate to Intermediate-Advanced. The Master Class will be led by Peter Rios, choreographer of Candlelight’s 2013 production of the Producers and Tap Instructor for the Theatre Dept. at University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Peter has performed on various local stages including Walnut Street Theatre, Prince Music Theater, Kimmel Center, and the Media Theatre and has been a member of several Tap Dance Companies.

Come out Monday July 14th or Monday August 4th (or both!) for a fun and educational night of tap dance. Cash payment will be collected at the door – come early to secure your spot! Cost per class is $15 or take two in the same night for just $25! Both levels will be offered on both dates. Due to space, only class participants will be admitted.
